Gyropup: progress

One robot, built leg first: one leg on a test rig, then the foam-ball turret, then the body around two legs. Everything here is CAD and simulation until parts are printed; reports update with each published design change. Everything to order and print for the first prototype, by seller: Build.

Strength: every printed part, loaded to breaking

Each printed part under the rig's worst loads (everyday: safety factor 2; rare events: 1.2, on humid printed PA6-CF). Click a row: the video ramps the load from zero to the design load and past it (black = beyond the material's strength). open ↗ opens the interactive 3D view: drag the load, see the hot spots, cut it open, probe any point.
